“Healing With Grace” is a therapeutic processing group that meets weekly on Tuesdays. We currently offer this group only for women. Participants can either register for the morning timeslot (9:30-11:00am) or the evening (6:30-8:00pm).
“Healing With Grace” is based on the Seeking Safety model by Dr. Lisa Najavits; a present-focused, evidence-based therapy approach designed to help individuals attain safety from substance abuse and past trauma. It emphasizes coping skills, grounding techniques, and psychoeducation to promote healing and stability in a supportive group setting.
Although the curriculum is primarily designed for individuals who have experienced trauma and struggle with substance abuse issues, the coping skills and stress management techniques we teach have shown to be beneficial to a wider audience, including those struggling with anxiety, depression, and various addictions.
This cost of this 14-week course is $200. Some insurances are currently accepted. Registration is required and group size is capped at 8. To register, please email info@riverman.org or call us at 986-600-7412. If you would like more information or if you have any questions, please reach out.
